Blog #10 「The adventure of Tintin」

This film is made by Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson. It is also 3D movie. The price of ticket is a little expensive. My Part-time job is Movie staff, Hibiya Sukaraza. So, I can watch it with a cheap ticket. And I didn't watch 3D movie before. So, I was looking forward to watching. After that, It was very much satisfied for me. The story was very interesting and 3D effect was good. As Tintin was at hand, it was visible and was excited. Moreover, it was very much surprised that people's expression is expressed with reality by the effect of 3D to details. Although a fool of the effect of 3D was made in the beginning and criticized about the limit of the effect, if actually looked, I will have been noticed that there is a spread of the possibility still more.  Please watch the 3D movie, you will surprised at their technology development.

no hokou lesson 12/21

Dear Class,

There will be no hokou lessons on 12/21 as I said. Please have a good holiday and if you have a chance to watch the movie "White Christmas," which was my plan, please do!

See you on January 16th. That will be our last class. We will have an exam in January during exam period. I am now thinking of having a speaking test. I will give you the details on the 16th after we have 3 film presentations. Presentation groups - please bring the DVDs to class and your handouts and notes. Let us enjoy the last class together to the full.

Blog #9 Japanese famous rock band

  Today,I introduce Japanese famous rock band group. The name is  "Glay".Officially, the name "Glay" is a deliberate misspelling of the word "gray" and represents the style of music they wanted to play: a mixture between rock (black) and pop (white).The guitarist Takuro and vocalist Teru formed the group in 1988 and debuted in1994.Their popularity reached the top at the end the of 1990s. The number of single million seller works is the 3rd in Japan. Eight music has received million authorization from Japan Phonograph Record Association. I　introduce one of the most famous songs released by glay. It is "Yuuwaku" means"bait".This song gained the 1st place of the Oricon annual single ranking in 1998.

Blog#10: My town

  I live in Setagaya. Many people lived there about 800000 people. This made me very surprised when I heard. And people keep cleaning there city, so Setagaya is one of the most cleard town in Japan. But there is very big defect there. Though there lived many people, the helper system(for old people or childen service) is not enough. So, I thnik Setagaya self-government should solve this sereous problem quickly.

Blog#9: I like to see the movies.

  I like to see a movies. Because my father loves them very much. So, he has showed me many movies, since I was a child. My first movie was 「Limelight」. I could not understand the contents. After that, I have seen many movies such as 「Roman holiday」, 「Rear Window」, 「God Father」, 「The sting」　and so on.　They taught me much different culture and human's mentalities. I think that the movie is seen and I become knowledgeable a little.

Blog#8: My part time job

 Because I have been to study abroad and baseball camp for a month, I couldn't do my part time job. I worked  at supplementary  private school as  a Enhlish teacher. I looked forward to seeing my students.  Everyone looked fine. In September, my students took a school examination and one student got a 97 score on a English test. I  was very pleased.
If students have an enthusiasm for study, I want to teach them hard as possible as I can.

Blog#7: 10 years from September 11 attacks

Mochihiro Imahara
   I remember when I saw that sight I was frightened and worried about the future of the world. 10 years have passed since September 11 attacks. From that day, the US thrusted into the battle against terrorism,and failed with many victims. Terrorist and the US tried to change the world by  force, but, the world is changing by the different way, for example,since last year a big revolutionary wave of demonstrations and protestsoccured  in the Arab world. This is called Arab Spring. The leader of this revolution is educated middle rank people. They are minority but by using SNS, they xepelled many dictators in short period it may not realize if they use the force. I expect the world will be multipolized and we need more international cooperation so our Japanese also should advance to the world actively to build a peaceful society.

                                        

Blog#6: Study abroad to China

From Aug 6 to Aug 27 I went to Shanghai to study. This is the project of Gakushuin university and about 30 college students participated this project. We studied Chinese at Fudan university that is prestige university in Shanghai. In the morning we studied Chinese 3 hours. The Chinese classes were  classified 10 levels by exnamination and interview. I was classified level5 that is difficult class. Nothing to say, our teacher  always spoke Chinese and studens did too. My classmates can speak English  very well, so, the way to communicate each other is English or Chinese, not include Japanese. Through this study abroad  not only I relized the difficulity of living in foreign country by my self but also I found the pleasure of communication in foreign language.

Hi everyone!
I want to introduce my lovely lovely pet.
Do you have pets?
I have a dog whose name is Maron, and he is 1 year old Maltese.
Yes, he just came my house 8 months ago!
I had another Maltese whose name was Anjero who came my house 12 years ago, however sadly, he died last summer.
Then we decided to have Maltese, because we loved Anjero and the life without dog was very boring for us.
Maron is so cute and he grew up healthy, so we're very happy!
My dream is to travel  with my Maron everywhere ♪

I join junkoushiki baseball club and playing as a right fielder. My strong point is arm:I can throw baseball near 90m and hitting for power. My weak point is reaction for junk-ball and fielding.  All outfielders must respect Japanese great outfielder"Ichiro". In MLB, there is a word “5tool” that refers to player’s main ability: hitting for average, hitting for power, base running skills and speed, fielding ability, throwing ability. There are few players who have all these abilities and they are called "5 tool player". They are considered ideal players. Ichiro's four abilities other than power are top levels in MlB.Above all　he has been had good results in severe 160  games every year. I believe that though Ichiro is in a slump this year, he would recovery in the second half season. Let's go Ichiro!!

I like to play soccer. Because my mother is an enthusiastic soccer fan. So, when I was 6 years old, I began to play it. At first, I couldn't do anything in the soccer game. But when the head coach taught me how to play, I could gradually do well. Soccer is team sports,  not personal sports. So, it makes me cooperative.

Today, I want to itroduce the most beautiful soccer player, Robert Baggio. Because he called fantasista from the soccer fan. Fantasista means imaginative or intelligent soccer player. He is not a tough or powerful player but a technical player. So, everybody called him fantasista.

 After I finished  part-time job, I often eat out In Mizonokuchi. When I am too hungry so ,I　want to eat much.  A pork cutlet is the one of the food which  can satisfy my big appetite. Today, I introduce you a delicious pork cutlet restaurant "Katuya". The shop is in distance at 2 minutes on foot from the station.
The crunchy cutlet that served on the big bowl removes my tiredness.

Today, I would like to introduce my favorite restaurant.
I go to KUA'AINA about once every 2 weeks.
This restaurant opened in 1975 in Hawaii, and Japan's first open was in 1977.
There are Hawaiian sandwiches and hamburgers, like ROAST TURKEY, AVO,BACON&CHEESE, ROSEMARY CHICKEN...
The sandwiches sold in KUA'AINA are very good taste and  side orders are good too.
So, when you go to this restaurant, I want you to eat sandwiches and french fries or salad.
