Blog#6: Study abroad to China

Mochihiro Imahara

From Aug 6 to Aug 27 I went to Shanghai to study. This is the project of Gakushuin university and about 30 college students participated this project. We studied Chinese at Fudan university that is prestige university in Shanghai. In the morning we studied Chinese 3 hours. The Chinese classes were  classified 10 levels by exnamination and interview. I was classified level5 that is difficult class. Nothing to say, our teacher  always spoke Chinese and studens did too. My classmates can speak English  very well, so, the way to communicate each other is English or Chinese, not include Japanese. Through this study abroad  not only I relized the difficulity of living in foreign country by my self but also I found the pleasure of communication in foreign language.

  2. Mochihiro,
This is really interesting. Did your Chinese improve as a result of this study? How about your English?
Where were all of your classmates from? How many participated from Gakushuin? And what department sponsors this trip?
I have a lot of questions - please answer in a comment.

  4. Hi,

Study abroad to China is dedicated to bridge best education resources and specific needs of people who plan to further their understanding of China and to implement their research into practice in China. They include ancient architectural complexes and a number of historical relics, forming an important basis for the study of China’s ancient culture and history. Thanks a lot...
